I've feeling better ... If you've been wondering where I disappeared too .... I had the flu and I really didn't have the energy to post anything. I went out this weekend and I guess I picked up something along the way. I was able to make it to work on Monday and Tuesday but I only work half of the day on Wednesday, leaving early to get back in the bed and suffer. My body was sore and I had a massive headache. I thought I was sleeping wrong in my bed at night (I can be so foolish at times). When Thursday rolled around I couldn't move ... My friend Sevet helped me out in my time of need by stopping off at the store and picking up some Advil, Gumbo and Orange Juice for me. I really appreciated her time and being there for me ... For some odd reason whenever I get sick my mother thinks I'm playing ... Ain't it funny? I finally got to see Janet Jackson's live performance in Hawaii ... It was a decent performance and they picked the biggest queen out of the audience for her to "freak." Was I the only one who noticed how fast she hopped off of him once the machine made it underground? The show was easier to watch this time around ... "The Velvet Rope," was too dark and depressing for me. I know we all go through our trials and tribulations with love ... But Janet was really going through it. I ordered Bridget Gray's "Shades Of Gray," off of Amazon.com today ... She did a piece on the radio yesterday and it blew me away ... Check her out at www.bridgetgray.com and the CD was only $10.00 ... The other day I was sitting at home and realized how boring my life has become ... I shut out numerous people for odd reasons or no reasons at all ... One day it'll change. I need to find Andrea Martin's "Best Of Me," CD ... I recall seeing her on "Apollo," and I fell in love with a song that she performed. Alright -- I'm Gone comments previous | next |
