While running various errands today I heard "Summertime In The LBC," on the radio and I had to sing along ... It was hotter than hell in Long Beach today -- So the song was very fitting.

I dusted off my Lauryn Hill and Brandy CDs and gave them both a spin ... WOW! I felt every raw emotion and feeling put into thoses CDs. Tomorrow at work I'll have the pleasure of jammin' to Cee-Lo Green and Joi's latest efforts. Somehow I was hoodwinked outta my Lauryn Hill CD and I highly doubt I'll see it again.

I'm still thinking about Terry McMillian appearance on the Essence Awards last week ...
