"I really know how it feels to be, stressed out, stressed out | When you’re face to face with your adversity | I really know how it feels to be, stressed out, stressed out | We’re gonna make this thing work out eventually" ~ A Tribe Called Quest f/ Faith Evans

As I sit here and type this entry I'm trying to decide if I'm going to go Dimples tonight to celebrate a friend's birthday ... I'm such a flake it's not even funny. I'm trying to change my ways ...

Yesterday I had a run in with one of the 'shiftless Negroes,' in my life. I decided to overlook the 'shiftless' ways of the person and lend moral support a hand. After getting off of work yesterday afternoon I decided to watch the ending of love jones and squeeze in a short nap before driving across town to pick up the person and drive them to a job interview. I inquired about the position and the company of which the interview was for ... and they couldn't answer any of those questions. A red flag went up so fast that I thought about turning around and dropping them off from where I picked them up at ... But I had to remember I was lending a hand.

After finally being able to get a little interview out of the person and piecing together the rest of the information I knew exactly what the job interview was for ... a salesperson selling kitchen knives door to door. Being that I know the person and their shiftless ways ... I sat in my car waiting for my brother him to come back to where I was parked. Nonetheless my trip across town was useless but it did allow me the opportunity to get out of the house for about 45 minutes.

Alright ... I'm Gone

P.S. Lloyd R. Belthazar have a safe trip!
