Yesterday while at work I received two voicemail messages from Ron [the ex's best friend] a person who's number I deleted from my phone book awhile back. I was in a state of shock to see that they actually had called ... The messages were actually funny in matter being that they said "Your so hard to get into contact with ..." Actually I'm one of the easiest people to get into contact with -- I'm like Oleta Adams ... "You can reach me by sail boat | climb a tree and swing rope to rope | Take a sled and slide down the slope | Into these arms of mine | You can jump on a speedy colt | Cross the border in a blaze of hope" ...

We decided to meet up and grab something to eat ... My curiosity got the best of me because I did want to see how the ex was doing [ Sidenote: I shouldn't have wasted my time or energy thinking about the ex.] Nothing has really changed between the two of them -- If anything ... They've both taken steps backwards.

This morning I woke up feeling refreshed ... All too often I think about what could've been, but hopefully that'll be a thing of the past. No more rainy days 'cause everyone needs | deserves a little sunshine in their lives to brighten up their day.
